girlsareshort once again the top band of the year for the second year in a row. ironically enough this year i said goodbye to my hometown and the top songs title is german for good bye.

on another note, it is hard to believe this year is over, heck this DECADE is over. the 2000's were the first decade i can honestly say that i can remember all of, seeing i was like 3 when the 90's started. if you told me in 2000 that i'd be living in nyc when 2010 was approaching i'd probably think you were crazy. with that said i decided to make the daunting task of putting together the top albums of 2000's for me.

i got good friends with bad habits

footage didn't totally come out as i wanted but for my first time shooting on 35mm i think it came out alright. also the shots that the film looks real flickry and trippy is not my fault.. the lab screwed it up.

still i'm happy with how it looks, i for sure made the best of what i had. but i do like it. it does fit my 'style' if i have one.

also semester is over tomorrow! going home friday morning. this fall flew by! stoked to be going home for a month though. hopefully some new contact kiss jams/shows.

in the mist of finals

but i still got time for the top 9 albums of 2009!

most of these didn't exactly blow me away but for sure are solid and will be in my rotation in 2010!

set your goals was hands down favorite for me, maybe i got a huge soft spot for them but that album for sure was the best followup to 'mutiny!'
