oh how i'd love to see that live. although just seeing them live would be fun. luckly i am in april!
in other "news" i'm seeing thursday and four year strong this wednesday, then the following wednesday millencolin, then the day after go home for spring break for like a week. THEN the wednesday after i get back is bloc party. fun times. i'm starting to like nyc a lot, if not for everything i'm finally making lots of friends which rules.
the past 20 days
it's been 20 days since i posted last... its not that i'm doing nothing and dont have anything to say its just.. well i've been too busy to do type in here.
quick run down of past 20 days, went home for a long weekend, done a lot of nyc-ing and school-ing. im not sure what else to put here. i'll figure it out.
24 hour mac store
last night at like 1:30 i went to download this update for my macbook. i thought it would be a good idea because my computer has been acting kinda sluggish lately. so i let it download, once the download was done a solid 20 minutes later the computer manually restarted and like usual it takes a second for it to kick over... well it didnt and this screen came up with all this code written on it with this screen over it saying i needed to restart my computer. so i restart it again... same thing. i try a few more times and realize its not gonna kick over. so i get out my phone and look up where the closest mac store is. come to find out there is a 24/7/365 mac store uptown. at this point its 1:45 in the morning and i realize if i go to the mac store the morning the line to get it looked at could be hours long... so off i went into the night to mac store. i decided to subway up to 58th st because all i'd have to do is walk over a few avenues to get 5th where the mac store was. well the subway was running local meaning it makes ALL stops on the way up. needless to say at night only 1 train runs the line you want. so i had to wait just to get on the subway for 20 minutes. then the train itself took another 30 minutes (if it was during the day it would have took no time) by the time i get there and sign up to get it looked at it was little past 2am. there was like 5-6 people ahead of me so i waited like 45 minutes then eventually got it looked it. apparnertly the update i downloaded didnt finish downloading thus messing up the whole OS system. the guy got it do install on my computer and all was well. i decided to cab back because waiting for the train could take like half hour to a hour and i wanted no part of that at 3:15am. the cab gets me back by 3:30 where i finally go to bed with a working computer. what a night.
thankfully my class today was cancled due to the snow. later on tonight i'm going to see tyler from midtown's new band, band of thieves. i'm excited for this one. i've not seen tyler since the last midtown show i saw in spring 2005.
sun in a empty room
every afternoon from about 2:00-2:35 the sun is in the corner of my room hitting the wall and edge of my bed. its the only time i actually feel the sun hitting me in the city of twisted metal and glass skyscrapers.
