snow snow snow

its snowing hard outside. like really really hard.

i cant seem to escape snow no matter where i go.

anyways the brand new show the other night did not impress me other night. yeah they sounded tight as a band but it seemed like 'jesse show' and it seemed so lame/depressing. so ive officially given up on trying to listen to them/like them or anything.

i'm gonna try to do a video blog soon, so keep an eye out for that.

in pa part II

so i'm sitting here in a cafe at lauren's school, we going to a movie or something like that later. anyways i got a few mins while she is studying to write in this.

im heading back to ny tomorrow. i leave out of harrisburg tomorrow at 930am. get to nyc by 1245pm to hopefully get on the next train to albany at 145, and get into albany at 430ish.

i know like from getting here those numbers will both be off by a lot. but i got an hour between trains so i should be good.

from albany i going to see brand new in albany later tomorrow night...

another long day. time to get dinner then movie.

in pa

i'm here and boy it take awhile to get here

my train out of saratoga yesterday was delayed like a half hour, then we lost like another hour in god knows where giving me like 5 mins to scramble to find my next train to pa at penn station

i got on a train that had a diff number as my ticket but it said it was going to harrisburg and come to find out my train got a diff number after all so i was on the right train thank god.

the train from nyc to harrisburg was the longest train ride of my life, i came to the conclusion that new jersey is the most rusty brown place on the face of this earth. i now see how all these 'emo' bands come from there.

want proof?
that was basically my view the whole way.

philly was kinda like that too. its not good ole ny, thats for sure...

anyways im here till sunday morning visiting lauren so get excited!

where you want to be

one week from now is going to be totally nuts, basically from the 21-24th is going to be on the go.

heres the game plan

thursday the 21st i leave saratoga on train at 940ish am. ill arrive in penn station in nyc. about an hour layover till i take my next 3 and half hour train to harrisburg pa, where ill hopefully arrive at 630 pm, just to take another hour car ride to lewisburg pa. that is going to be the longest day ever.

friday and saturday will be fine, no travel.

sunday i will leave harrisburg at like 930ish am with another layover in nyc, and eventually back to albany by 530, to go see brand new at the armory.

what are the odds all of this is going to go smoothly? i'd say slim to none....

wish me luck

inspiration strikes

i got the idea to video blog, i mean like i'll still write in here but video blogging would be like weird websodes i'd make totally by myself with cameos by friends etc.

i'm thinking they would range of being a ton of different things/subjects. some random, other having a point, and others being somewhat autobiographical like documenting a day or something.

plus i got a theme song for it already... 'who loves the sun' by the velvet underground

but aside from that, i got sent a sweet gerling remix by girlsareshort which is amazing and you must hear so check it out!

the g-men

i'll be the first to admit, i dont like many new york based sports teams....

but...

after the giants beat my hero brett farve and the packers i knew they were on to something pretty special. well alas talk about shock the world what a game it was!!! seeing them slay the undefeated beast that was the patriots, kinda made me feel proud to be from new york. although the team does play in jersey. but jersey is like new york junior anyways.

so cheers to eli manning at the giants, you earned this one!

ice ice baby

feburary is like november to me. it comes every year but it goes by so fast that you don't remember it. i swear in a week it will be march, and i'm fine with that....

anyways listen to this song: 'what it's like in japan' by the great late logan whitehurst. i think its great and super clever. i might have to order his album 'tiny songs' which is like 80 songs, of you guessed it tiny (short) songs.
