the biggest decision of my life

i got one month to figure out where i'm going to college and every second the clock keeps ticking. i've pretty much narrowed down my choices to: the new school, and the new york film academy. both of which are in new york city. moving to the biggest city on earth basically is going to be a huge change but one i've waiting a very long time to make. unfortunately deciding where i want go is proving to the the problem. both schools have pros and cons and i got to weigh them and figure out where i want to go....

ny film
pros: i'll graduate faster, admission process is a lot easier, the degree is highly accepted in the film industry.
cons: i'll be gone for two years straight, housing is off campus so i'm basically to look for a apartment in nyc... but the school does help but not having like a meal plan or a solid place to live like a dorm or something kinda sucks, the degree i get from the school is NOT a bachelors... i'd have to go to like st. johns to get one in tv media or something fancy like that.

new school:
pros: normal college school year, awesome dorms, highly regarded school, price is not bad (for nyc), excellent location (the village)
cons: i'll be there 3-4 years to graduate which would fine if i was 18 but i'm 21 and when i start ill be 22 by the end of the semester, ill graduate when i'm like 25. admission process sounds like they want my soul on paper.

there is a ton more pros and cons for both school but those are the ones i can think of right now.. and i got like 10000000 things on my mind related to this right now. honestly i'm leaning more tward the new school, it seems more me the nyfa which don't get wrong is a great school but the housing situation dont seem concrete enough for me. i don't know.

i'm going down i hope in sept to figure it all out and 'get it together', ironically enough one essay for new school is about one piece of art whether it be film, movie, painting, or music. i'm writing my essay on 'forget what you know' by midtown. no album or anything really has had the influence and personal impact on me like that album.

all in all wish me luck, i feel if i dont pull the trigger on something soon i'll be stuck here forever and i dont want that.
